An opportunity for subject leads to get together to discuss issues arising from our teaching of History.
Sharing of best practice, knowledge and experiences to improve our understanding and delivery of the subject and discussion of pedagogy in general.

What will delegates do on the day?
The first meeting is to discuss what further agendas will focus on; training session delivered by Paige Richardson* focused on how to help those difficult-to-reach students in history and a discussion on this year's GCSE exams.
* Paige Richardson, History Teacher, Hazelwick School, Crawley.
Paige has been teaching for over 27 years and has worked in London and Brighton specialising in making history accessible and exciting for all. She has regularly delivered workshops at the Historical Association’s annual conference. This one may include singing and clapping. Be warned!
Who is the meeting aimed at?
Middle leaders and their representatives.
What school improvement aims will this support?
The network will seek to improve the quality of teaching and learning and assessment for teachers; improved outcomes for students.
How will the course impact be evaluated?
Feedback from meetings and focus targets for subsequent meetings.
