James recently entered the profession as a career change and recognised how much he needed to learn to aspire to his expert colleagues and do the best for his students. Driven by impatience, James set about voraciously reading as much as he could to diminish his deficiencies as a novice teacher. He discovered a real love for process, pedagogy and developing academic literacy for students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Keen to ensure that he doesn't become a statistic, he is now driven by the need to maximise the impact of teaching without damaging family life, leading his practice towards seeking and sharing the most efficient and sustainable paths to progress.
